Overview

The College of Idaho’s Graduate Certificate in Exercise Science (GCES) is designed to expand your graduate-level training in exercise physiology, biomechanics, and clinical practice.

The GCES is created for students who are seeking to advance their career in health, fitness or human performance, but who cannot devote the time necessary to complete a full master’s degree. It will provide students with additional expertise in human performance to pursue and thrive in clinical exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, corporate wellness, and related health professions.

The Graduate Certificate in Exercise Science originates from and emphasizes the liberal arts. Through its four core courses, you gain expertise in human performance and how to thrive in a variety of health, performance and human physiology professions.
