Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this minor, students will be able to:

1) Demonstrate foundational knowledge of mathematics and mathematical thinking, including logical reasoning, abstraction, generalization, and proof;

2) Use mathematical ideas to solve problems in applied contexts, using computers when appropriate; and

3) Recognize contemporary social and ethical issues related to mathematics.
