PHI-250 Ancient Philosophy
A survey of ancient philosophy in global context. Topics may include: What is philosophy? What are some of the key questions in ancient philosophy? For instance, what is knowledge, justice, the self, or God? How should we live and treat each other? Do ancient religious traditions illuminate particular aspects of reality? How similar or different were ancient philosophies across cultural and regional contexts? How relevant is ancient philosophy today?
