PSY-364 Community Psychology

This course provides an overview of research, methods, theory, and action in community psychology. Major topics in community psychology will be reviewed, including, but not limited to: ecological levels, power, prevention, inclusion, interventions, diversity, community research methodology, empowerment, liberation, oppression, community health, and well-being.

This is a Community-Engaged Learning course and includes work with a community partner to address a community identified problem, challenge, or need.

Take one of these courses: 1) PSY-206; or 2) PSY 201; or 3) SOC-349; or 4) SOC-405 - Must be completed prior to taking this course
