HEHP-4011 Clinical Exercise Testing

This course equips students with both practical and theoretical skills necessary for safely conducting graded exercise tests using cycle ergometers and treadmills. Students will learn to operate 12-lead electrocardiogram systems and metabolic gas analyzers to interpret the data from these tests. Additionally, they will learn how to prescribe exercise for clinical populations.

Please note: This course may be offered in a co-listed format with HEHP-5011. Students planning to enroll in the 3+1 Master of Science in Exercise Science program should wait to take the graduate-level version of this course during their senior year. Formerly HHP-411.
